Please read through the User Guide, you will find it helpful. When you register, you will receive three emails from ComSkills Ukraine. The first email confirms your registration, the second sends you an account activation link, and the third confirms your username and password with a login activation link. If you do not receive any of these emails, please check your SPAM filter.
To gain access to the ComSkills Ukraine service, start by clicking on the Registration tab.
You will then see an online form. Add your chosen USERNAME for your ComSkills account and also your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME and your EMAIL ADDRESS.
Your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME are data fields for the automatically generated examination pass certificates. So please make sure your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME are the ones you want to appear on your certificate.
Important – be aware that USERNAMES can’t be changed once created.
Once you are registered, you are automatically enrolled on all the lessons.
Once you have entered your USERNAME, FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, and EMAIL ADDRESS select a secure password and click Submit. The ComSkills website will then confirm that you have successfully registered and an email from ComSkills will be automatically sent to the email address used by you for registration.
This email is essential to ComSkills as it confirms if the FIRST NAME and LAST NAME data fields are formatted for the automated examination pass certificates.
At the same, you will receive the second email. This email contains a link that you must click on to activate your account. If you don’t receive the email, please check your SPAM filter. If the email is in your SPAM filter, move it to your inbox and then click on the link in the email to activate your account.
After you activate your account by clicking on the link, your browser will offer you the option to login with an activation link to your login page, OR you may be sent another email by ComSkills confirming your USERNAME, PASSWORD and an activation link that takes you to your login page.
Important – make sure Remember Me is ticked as this makes future logins and logouts single clicks and very easy.
If you are a Google user you may want to add your ComSkills login to your Google Password Manager, this will enable you to login to ComSkills on any PC or mobile device. ComSkills is a cloud service.
When you login for the first time as a registered user, you are taken to your own personal and private profile page.
On your personal and private ComSkills profile page, you can customise colours, add a photo, a biography, change passwords, change registered email and much more. Your profile also allows you to monitor your progress as you go through all the courses, lessons, quizzes, and final certified examination.
As a registered user, you are automatically enrolled on all the lessons.
Besides the biography section of your Comskills profile page, you will see the words “Share a little biographical information to fill out your profile. This may be shown publicly“. Do not be concerned with this. This sentence is fixed text in the software. All personal profiles are private.
All your profile data is private and only accessible to the system administrator. The ComSkills privacy code can be viewed here.
On the top right of your profile are your name and photo. On the top left is a menu tab for Dashboard and also ComSkills Ukraine. The Dashboard menu tab is irrelevant, so don’t waste any time on it. Go straight to the menu tab ComSkills Ukraine, when you click on it you access the ComSkills Ukraine video e-learning service.
You now enter ComSkills Ukraine. Bookmark this page in your browser. Whenever you use ComSkills, you can use the login & logout button to login and logout with a single click.
You now have your profile page in ComSkills Ukraine and are automatically enrolled for all the courses, and the login and logout are now single clicks.
Start by clicking on and starting Core Skill 1 – 1.1 What is Strategic Communication. Once this lesson is completed, click on the green button “mark complete” and then click on the blue button beside saying “next lesson”. Your progress is logged in your profile, and you can login and logout at any time as you progress through all the lessons in the 5 Core Skill syllabus. ComSkills is not to be rushed, take your time. On the right, you will also see the course, lesson structure and the lessons for which you are registered and also your progress.
Each video lesson should be watched in its entirety before you move on to the next lesson. Don’t rush; take your time to listen, learn and think. ComSkills is not something you complete in a few days and then move on from. It is a resource and service you can refer to throughout your career.
If you click on the MATERIALS tab for each lesson you will see supporting and related documentation to browse through.
The course is designed around the 5 Core Skills of Strategic Communication. Each Core Skill has multiple videos, supporting materials and quizzes to assist the learning process.
As you progress through the lessons, courses, quizzes, and final exam, you will also discover useful resources on the ComSkills Ukraine website,
The Resources tab gives you access to useful tools for your work.
